π **Celebrating My Strokiversary** π
One year ago, my life took an unexpected turn when I faced a stroke. It was the lowest point in my life, but it transformed me in unimaginable ways. This experience taught me more about life and myself than decades of reading and studying ever did.
Today, I feel blessed and grateful for the person I've become through this remarkable journey. I've embraced positivity and optimism, and I finally achieved my childhood dream of writing a book. Despite the disabilities my stroke brought, it also ignited the courage to embrace my inner strength. Indeed, I'm still holding onto my dream of running and regaining the use of my right hand one day. πͺπββοΈπ #NeverGiveUp #Dreams #InnerStrength
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who stood by my side throughout this year. From my cherished loved ones to the most unexpected supporters, your presence and encouragement have meant the world to me.
I'm also deeply grateful to my workplace, from leadership to colleagues. Even those I hadn't connected with before the stroke. Some work relationships have blossomed into true friendships, and some work friendships have evolved into brotherhood. Returning to the office, I never felt treated any differently than before the stroke. Their unwavering support made my transition seamless, beyond anything I could have wished for.
As I mark this Strokiversary, I want to say thank you, not just to the stroke, but to all who have made this journey of transformation and growth possible. Here's to a future filled with optimism, strength, and continued gratitude. πβ€οΈ #Strokiversary #Transformation #Gratitude
